Four O’Clock in the Afternoon …

… and getting ready to go home. They don’t like it if I hold up the van pool, and since the van leaves at 4:30 I need to make short work of these last few minutes.

I had almost no work today, so I have been blogging and/or hubbing most of the day. I did read a little and do some Bible study, but it was for a hub I was writing. (For HubPages.com see my links.)

And time passes so quickly now that there’s a deadline, of sorts. This is going to be a whole lot shorter than I first thought, but I usually miscalculate time one way or the other and get tired of waiting or find myself trying to finish up at the very last-minute. Fortunately there’s a clock on my monitor as well as on my desk. Maybe that will help.

We are getting ready to take a trip to Grass Valley, California to take a look at a place where we may actually move after retirement in July. (Minus 35 working days and still counting.) They will be showing us around, hosting us, and, undoubtedly, trying to “sell” us. (Maybe strike a “deal”?)

Everything is still pretty much “up in the air” still, so we’re just holding our breaths and asking God to show us what He wants us to do. Can’t go wrong with that formula!

Hello world!

I kind of like this default title for a first post. It kind of says it all for an initial posting on any blog. It should be easy to comment on too, since it doesn’t really say much, either.

I will keep posting as much and as often as possible, but don’t expect daily… just when there’s something exceptional – from my POV – happening in the world or in my life.

God bless you all!
